Library Update

This summer has been a very busy one at the library!  It kind of feels like a giant game of musical chairs!  We have been shifting things around in preparation for our new Learning Commons, which will be an interactive space for students to work on group projects.  It will be located roughly where the Children’s and Youth section were formerly.  Children’s and Youth collections are moving to the area that once held our Reference section.  We are in the process of weeding our Reference books so that we can fit the entire collection on low shelves near the front of the library.  To make space for that, we have hired a team of book movers to shift and compress our collection.  Confused yet?  Stop by for a tour and to learn more about our Information Commons!  And be on the lookout for more updates here and on our Facebook page.
